I love life; I love each day,
I love when sunlight starts to stray
Through swaying trees, then pirouettes
enhancing dancing silhouettes.
I love life; I love the sound
Of feathered friends, who gather round,
and with each magic melody,
Provide a serenade that’s free.
I love life; I love the sight
Of cloud-drifts on a moonlit night.
I love the lap of sea on shore,
and every positive encore.
I love life; I love the kind
Of pleasures that invade the mind;
Of faces, places, moments rare,
So fine and beautiful to share.
I love many other things
the privilege of living brings.
Despite the trouble and the strife,
so much to cherish…I love life.
